Where's Babukins shopping?

Where's this little tot going with his mommy's reusable shopping bag? Yesterday, we went to our favourite organic grocery store after lunch and then went to sit down in Mix with some friends. Guess who decided he was going to drink *all* of his mommy's juice? Okay, maybe that's an exaggeration - mommy did get 1.5 sips.... :P

"Swimming"

Yesterday, Babukins went "swimming" (i.e. playing in the pool) with his new green, floaty thing. He loved being in the water so much that he even managed to convince an older toddler to get into the water, too. After cruising around the pool, Babukins saw his friend, Baby B, and they played with Baby B's floaty bath toys together. I'm not sure if it was more difficult to get Babukins to give back the floaty toy or if it was more difficult to get him out of the pool. Anyway, a pouty Babukins resulted... as you can see from the pic!

Babukins had a fun day out on Park Island yesterday with his friend JJ and some other aunties. He got to run around quite a bit and loved to chase after JJ. What a day full of giggles! It was a hot, hot, hot, hot, hot day, but we visited the indoor displays and had meals during the warmest hours, so the bebes (or boys as JJ likes to point out) got to enjoy the beautiful greenery on the island. Fun, fun, fun!

Ex-Coworker Reunion

Yesterday, Babukins got to join Part II of his mommy's ex-coworker reunion! He ran all over the place and had so many aunties playing with him that he didn't want to leave!

Anyway, it's been four years since training school. Luckily, everyone looks the same if not better :D

New Products from France

Once upon a time, one of Babukins' good friends in Europe gave him an adorable puppet. Now we're carrying two organic puppets from this brand, one of a bear and one of a rabbit. Each puppet comes in its own carry case! How precious!

Last Week

What a big week last week was for Babukins! Highlights included meeting with a new friend from an HK publication in the FCC on Friday, getting visa and passport pictures taken on Saturday and hanging out on the rooftop of the IFC on Sunday!

The weather was beautiful yesterday, and Babukins eventually had to have his shirt removed (with sunscreen applied all over of course!). Babukins thoroughly enjoyed romping around while his mommy had a late lunch... and to top it off, he got a strawberry from a nice man that worked at R. Afterwards, he got to chill out over dinner with JJ, JJ's mommy and a few other aunties from his mommy's old job in HK... this time on the third-floor terrace of the IFC.

All in all, a lovely week in Hong Kong!

Chez Babukins

What has Babukins been up to? Well, he's been staying home for the past few days, going downstairs to the park and club house. He also got to go to the pool last night with his mom and an auntie who's going to be volunteering in Sichuan soon! He loves "swimming"... but not as much as lying around in the hot tub :D.

Musical Baby

It was a good idea to expose Babukins to classical music and mom's singing from the beginning, because it looks like the little tot is a bit talented in this area! Here he is pretending to be a little drummer boy with Great-Grandma's chairs!

Oh, hehe, I couldn't resist and posted a pic of Babukins posing with his makshift drum set, too! Enjoy!

Sweeping Baby

Babukins' mom finally got a new phone... so now there will be new pics of the little man again! The customer services people at the phone company were happy to help babysit the little guy ;) He had so much fun there (see the pic on the right?)





He's also been busy doing some sightseeing, such as going to Wong Tai Sin, and ticking off his list of chores. Haha, no, he doesn't have chores yet, but he's been following Lan around and learning how to sweep anyway. Hahaha!

Oooooo... a friend has just sent pictures he took a week ago. Yes, that's Babukins behind the wheel of his ride... at the park. (I think I need a better camera and some professional photography training, because this picture looks way better than the ones I take!)
