Escalator Accident!

Yesterday evening, a stranger who'd said he'd help us with the top end of the buggy suddenly let go and ran away. Babukins+buggy flipped over on the escalator.... Thank goodness nice strangers and Auntie J were there to help - the brave little man arrived in A&E with little signs of remembering the accident. He is alright now, and we're thankful that he just received minor wounds from what could have been a lot worse.... Say "no" to escalators!

Newest Product - Bamboo Towels!

These lovely BBP towels just came in today! They're made of unbleached bamboo and organic cotton, making them super soft and luxurious. Babukins will be giving one to his friend, Choo Choo, for his 100-day-birthday this Saturday! Yay!

Auntie C's Bday Party etc

Although Babukins did go for dinner at a veggie restaurant in Causeway Bay this weekend, the highlight was definitely Auntie C's birthday party in Langham Place on Saturday night. He had fun playing with all the balloons, the staff, the other kiddies... and the couple who were on a date. Yes, he played the third wheel by joining their table, playing peek-a-boo with them and showing them his cup, which he thought should belong on their table instead! What a social weekend for this little tot!

Packing to move...!

Babukins hasn't been doing much this week other than helping his mommy pack. They have some huge boxes that will need to be sent to Europe. It's hard to decide what should be shipped over and what should fly with them! ... Anyway, here's a picture of Babukins with a friend of his from earlier this week - he's going to miss hanging out with his baby friends in the park... but not as much as his mommy! :P

Another Relaxing Weekend

Babukins had another relaxing weekend of hanging out in the park etc. Hong Kong might have reached Typhoon #9 (tropical cyclone warning signal 9) at 3:00 am on Sunday morning, but Babukins did not notice at all!

Anyway, his mommy has confirmed their flight back to Europe, so Babukins had better enjoy his remaining days in Hong Kong :D.

New Hair, New Friend!

Babukins got his first haircut yesterday - his mommy cut his bangs/fringe, and it's looking quite retro! After such an exciting morning, he met an auntie's doggie and went to run around with her in "dog park" in Wanchai. Cool! The two really bonded and seemed to share the same preferences and dislikes in dogs. Anyway, the veggie baby has always been an animal lover - you'll find other kids tugging at dog fur or hitting cats, but being the gentle giant he is, Babukins is always careful when playing with animals friends... and even plants for that matter! :)

What a week!

What a week it's been for Babukins! Some of the exciting events included the arrival of his new passport and the application of his new visa. Luckily, his visa letter arrived just in time, an hour before his mommy left for the consulate!

Not only that, Babukins and his mom also went to Gong De Lin in TST for delicious, vegetarian food a la Shanghainese style. Yummy! Check out pictures from his ferry ride and restaurant visit.

Oh, here's also a picture from the clubhouse downstairs - Babukins somehow got into his mommy's lipstick again today, so that's what's on his face! Hahahaha... oh, bebe!

Chilling Out

This little ball of energy has been running and climbing around non-stop! At this age, Babukins is learning a lot, saying new words and understanding new things every day, but Mommy still misses when he was a tiny baby she could take around in a front carrier! Today, at Life Cafe, she saw a newborn in the same car seat Babukins had when he was little and thought of all the good times they'd had together when he was that age. Her friends were right when saying that she should treasure that time as it flies by too quickly! Anyway, here's a picture from the little guy's first passport photo shoot. :)
