It`s been an awfully busy week for Babukins and his mom. For the first time ever, they were separated for more than one evening - he stayed with Grandma and Grandpa in Switzerland while Mommy went flat-hunting in London. After a successful trip, she`s back here with Babukins now and has even managed to go with him and Grandpa to a cool park in Bern and a castle just outside of Bern, but she`s forgotten to bring her camera both times! So here is a pic of the little tot in Hong Kong last month with one of his cool friends! (Thanks so much for the lovely pic, G). :D Nice pose!

By the way, has anyone noticed the awesome new products that just arrived from Peru?

Babukins in Basel

Yesterday, Babukins went with Grandpa, Grandma and Mommy to visit his aunt, Salome, and Uncle Gordan. He had a blast at their flat with all the music in the air, dancing to a piano, an accordion and then some records. The weather was so beautiful that Babukins got a chance to visit a local park, where they were having a bit of a music festival. What a nice day for the bebe!

Baby Mo

Wooooo!!! We`ve been having ridiculously high temperatures here in Switzerland. The day before, Babukins went to the Butterfly park and ended up sweating like a little oink oink since it was boiling outside and inside. Yesterday, we made our way into Bern again, where people were all jumping into the river - it`s supposedly a tradition when the weather is this nice....

Anyway, here`s a pic of Baby Mo, one of Babukins`friends, wearing a t-shirt from our e-boutique...... Cute, cute, cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Baby Mo`s going to be visiting London this Fall, so we`ll see the little bebe plus his parents super soon!! :D

In Bern

Babukins met up with Mommy in Bern yesterday for a birthday dinner. The weather was amazing, and there was a big crowd in front of the restaurant as Toblerone was launching a new chocolate and had a famous Swiss band playing. The little tot, who loves music, had a whale of a time!

Lausanne boat trip...

Babukins and his mom trekked over to Lausanne by rail yesterday. The lakeside environment was beautiful, and everyone was very friendly - after a few cooler days here in Switzerland, we were glad to be basked in some nice sunshine. Babukins made lots of friends on this journey, which included a boat trip to see some other towns along Lake Geneva, such as Sniper the dog. :) What a tiring boat ride - thank goodness he found some friends to play with near the end of it!!!!

Sooly`s Baby Buddha

Thank you to Sooly, one of our customers, for sharing with us a picture of her beautiful baby dressed in Buddhist-themed clothing. How adorable!

Meanwhile, Babukins has been thoroughly enjoying his time here. Did I mention that he`s already had a playdate, with another one scheduled for next week? Yesterday, we went into Bern with his grandfather to buy him some clothing and have lunch. I have to say that Babukins seems to enjoy his grandpa`s company more than his mommy`s - boo! ;P

Formentera... and then Switzerland

It`s been a while since we last posted an entry here - after spending a night in London, we flew to Ibiza and took a boat to Fermentera to visit Babukins` grandma, who has a house in the middle of a nature reserve there. I`m not kidding! We were surrounded by pine trees, cacti and lizards when we weren`t at one of the amazing beaches on the island. The whole island was bathed in sunshine, and nobody enjoyed the place more than Babukins.What a great experience! After almost a week there, we came "back" to Switzerland, where we`ll be staying for a month. Now... here are a couple of pictures from our trip so far.....
