An amazing book for all interested in womens' rights!

Babukins is a bit ill but should feel better soon.... These issues we face are nothing when confronted with the horrors many other women face around the world though.... What we want to share with you today is a link to www.halftheskymovement.org - not only is it the name of a book with womens' empowerment stories from around the world, it is also the name of an organisation that want to help bring an end to oppression of and violence against women, something we should all take part in....

Another busy week!

Last weekend, Babukins got to go to Hyde Park and hang out in the playground in the Westfield mall (so North American!). During the week, he has been up to his usual routine of doing toddler things and volunteering. What will he be up to this weekend?

Bonfire Night!

Babukins enjoyed his first-ever Bonfire Night outing yesterday! There were lots of people from the neighbourhood, including drummers and men who stood on stilts! Not only was there a huge bonfire (you can see how huge it was from comparing it to the people standing close by), there was also a beautiful display of fireworks! I'm sure you can see from the pic that the little tot enjoyed his evening!

Halloween....!

Boohoo... Babukins' Halloween costume was still in the wash when the actual day rolled in, so instead of wearing a costume that day, he carried a little black cat (toy) instead. It was a big day for the little one - after having a baby reunion with P and F, he went up to Leamington Spa to help celebrate his Auntie D's birthday! What fun!
